The importance of writing things down
Writing
our thoughts, emotions and intentions is a lot more important than what we may
think. In this digital age, it’s very tempting to do everything online. Whilst
it’s very practical and saves time, it is less powerful than taking a pen and
paper, and putting it down on paper.
When
we write, we convert our thoughts, emotions and intentions, which are in our 4th
Dimensional body, into the material, 3rd Dimensional body, the
dimension through which we experience with our 5 senses: seeing, tasting,
hearing, smelling and touching. It brings it to a level of density where we can
manifest it.
So what are you waiting for to grab a (or several!) notepads and put your
vision for the future down on paper, your aspirations for the world you want to
live in, your dream recalling, the pain you’re experiencing, whether mentally,
emotionally or physically. Putting them on paper helps see patterns and
contributes to bringing the unconscious to the conscious.
Here
are some of my journals:
–
A
dream journal by my bed. I try to recollect my dreams in the morning
–
A
journal where I write all that comes to me when I feel like it, and always
after an energy healing session, and generally once a month with a new moon
tarot session I do for myself, or for other marking events. I always take this
one when travelling, and I keep it in a pouch that is dear to me
–
The
Energy of the Day planner, where I write down key marking points of the day,
and any synchronicities that I’ve noticed
–
Project
notepads, I have several of these, for the various projects I bring to life, or
the various courses I take. I like to have them separate, so I can come back to
them as and when I learn something new or make a connection with another topic
etc
–
A
blog notepad, that is on a special digitalised notepad and pen. The writing is
like on any other notepad, except that the content is registered through the
pen, and uploaded onto an app that digitalises it. It doesn’t capture all the
intricacies of my handwriting, but it helps a bit with re-transcription
–
One-the-go
notepads, these are small notepads that I take with me when I’m out. I have
several small ones that I leave in various bags. I learned this trick from a writer
friend of mine, who always has a notepad to hand, even in his ski avalanche
backpack 🙂
–
Vision
boards. I do one for all aspects of my life each July, for the start of the new
Mayan year (and Ancient Egypt new year too), linked with the heliacal rising of
the star Sirius (i.e. when it raises before the Sun after a year of it being
the other way around). I place this one in my bedroom, visible from my bed. And
I have another one specifically for what I want to manifest in my
‘professional’ life, as I have different activities that I manage as part of a
portfolio life
How
many journals do you use? We’d love to find out! Let us know in the comments.
